I tutored in a charter school and privately for three years. I have taught and worked with children ages 1-12 for 20 years in public education, private schools and Early Head Start. I do not work full time now and continue to want to work with children to help them achieve their goals. My counseling/social work background is a really useful skill in working with children in a tutoring role. I have had experience with children with special needs, especially in reading.
