I am a college graduate with a B.S. degree in Mathematics with emphasis in Computational Science. I graduated High School with a 4.0 GPA. I was on the Dean’s top 10% academic list 7 times. My professional tutoring experience includes tutoring 4 elementary school children in arithmetic through 8th grade algebra through the Elevate program. I have tutored 1 high school student in high school geometry and algebra via Care.com. I can adjust my tutoring to all 3 major learning types: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. I have experience tutoring my fellow classmates, tutoring students as a teacher's aide, and providing free tutoring whenever a friend or parent has asked, in addition to my professional experience through Elevate and Care.com. I am most proficient in arithmetic and algebraic concepts and breaking them down into simple concepts so that anyone can understand them. I believe through Mathematics the world can be made a better place, and part of that is improving the mathematical skills of each and every child. Each and every child has the right to be successful in Math, and I want to help them succeed. Where some seem a confusing jumble of meaningless symbols, I see a beautiful harmonious language that show the interaction of all different types of elements coming together to give sense to our vast universe.
